It is more blessed to give than to receive.
Acts 20:35
Why we give
GOD CALLS US TO GIVE FAITHFULLY AND OBEDIENTLY.
Tithing is an act of faith and obedience, where we give back a portion of what God has blessed us with. By tithing, we honor God with our resources, support the ministry of the church, and participate in His work to spread the Gospel. It's not about the amount, but about trusting God and prioritizing Him in all areas of our lives.
You might ask, am I expected to give when I visit Meadow Brook?
You’re not expected to give! During Sunday services, we take an offering to support our church, ministries, and missions. If you're visiting or if you are new at Meadow Brook — you are free to give if you like, there is no pressure to give!
